Projector repair - frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What does maintenance involve and how often should it be performed?

Maintenance mainly involves thorough cleaning of the filters and the entire optical system (light tunnels, mirrors, lens). This prevents the device from overheating and stains on the image. We recommend an inspection at least once a year or every 500 hours of lamp operation.

How long does a standard projector repair take?

We carry out most standard repairs, such as cleaning the optics or replacing the lamp, within 2-3 business days. In the case of more complex faults (e.g. motherboard repair), this time may be longer, which we always inform you about after free diagnostics.

What brands of projectors do you service?

We are a post-warranty service center for most leading brands, including Epson, Panasonic, Sony, BenQ, Optoma, NEC, ViewSonic and many others. If your brand is not on the list, please contact us - we will likely still be able to help.

How much does fault diagnosis cost?

Diagnostics at our service center are always free of charge if you decide to repair. In the case of resignation from repair after receiving a quote, we only charge a symbolic fee for the technician's working time and expertise.
